Pastor Rick Greene Journeys Home

 

In September of 1999 a great Christian pastor and friend died after fighting cancer for several years. Rick Greene, the late pastor of Northminster Baptist Church, went home to be with Jesus. Rick was a loving father and devoted husband. He preached the truth, unabashedly. He taught us that the first thing to do and the last thing to do was to pray. He taught us that prayer was more important than worry and that PRAYER COUNTS.

 

He was a good friend and brother to me. No, we were not siblings and although we were Christian brothers I don't mean it that way either. I mean that I treated him like a brother and I always felt that he treated me that way too. Till the end, he was always making sure that everyone else had their needs met.

Truly a man after God's own heart.

 

Rick was born on December 30, 1954 and died on September 5, 1999. Now he sits at the feet of Jesus.
