2005 Mission Trip Photographs 

Joshua spoke Russian on this trip even though he was only a first semester Russian student.  He spoke amazingly well.   

David Hickey said yes to my invitation for him to go to Russia early on.  However, each time I woud ask his wife Kelly to go, she would give me this look as if to say, "Eat worms and die."  Then one Sunday when we were having a regular monthly meeting she was at the meeting.  I assumed she was there having lunch with us in support of her husband going to Russia.  Then she began to ask questions.  I asked her if she was going and praise God she said yes.  She did not know it at the time, but for the 2006 trip she was going to be the VBS director, replacing my tired worn out wife.
